INFO We’re located near Grand Rapids, MI and we’ve been raising puppies for almost 15 years. Our mission at MI Doodles is to provide families with high-quality puppies that will enrich their lives. CHOOSING YOUR PUPPY If you are on our waiting list for a puppy we require a $250 non-refundable deposit within 3 days after puppies are born to hold your spot for a puppy choice. The remaining balance is due when your puppy is 6 weeks of age. Failure to pay the remaining balance forfeits your puppy choice. Puppy choices are made in order of our waiting list and deposits received. Families have the first three days after puppies are born to make their puppy choice. After that, if someone is interested in a puppy, 12 hours is given for them to make a decision on a specific puppy and for us to receive a deposit before we offer that puppy to another family. You are able to change your choice of puppy at any time as long as it is not one already chosen with a received deposit. You are welcome to set up an appointment to meet your puppy in person after they are 6 weeks of age. * We highly recommend BaxterandBella.com for at-home puppy training videos. POLICIES PET & HEALTH CONTRACT- Puppies are sold only as a pet, not as a breeding prospect. Our health warranty is for all serious life-altering genetic diseases or conditions, for two years, and covers costs up to the expense of the puppy. Our contract is available to review upon request and will be provided to our puppy families before their puppy goes home. GOING HOME- Our puppies do not go home before 8 weeks of age and we do not hold a puppy for longer than 9 weeks of age without prior arrangements. Any puppy staying past 9 weeks old will be charged $25/day for additional care. We do not keep puppies longer than 10 weeks old. If you need assistance with flying your puppy to you we are happy to meet you or a flight nanny at our local airport (GRR) for an additional fee of $75. Flight nannies can be resourced at citizenshipper.com. We do not offer cargo shipping of a puppy or ground transportation with a company. However, we personally offer ground transportation to Chicago or Detroit for an additional fee of $400. PAYMENT- We accept cash, Apple Pay, Paypal (3% fee), Venmo, Google Pay, or Zelle. We DO NOT accept personal checks or money orders. VISITING- When visiting your puppy we reserve an hour block of time specifically for you. We have other families we may schedule back-to-back and this protects their time as well as ours. PICKING UP YOUR PUPPY– For puppy pick up we reserve a half hour block of time specifically for you, please plan traffic and meals accordingly as we often make appointments with multiple families on the same day. If you are unable to keep your appointment for the planned on time please let us know in a timely manner. Unfortunately, we do not have a bathroom available on the premises. OUR FACILITIES We have a comfortable, home-like setting designed for our families to meet or pick up their puppy. Puppies are familiar with playing in here and enjoy a variety of toys and textures to explore so they can be ready for your home. We also have a wash station and start puppies on bathing at a very early age so they are familiar and comfortable with future visits to their groomer. THE DOG PARK Welcome to our dog park, where puppies get to run and explore at least 2 hours a day. Puppies have their own temperature controlled indoor room and access through a doggy door to a covered outdoor space as well. 4 times a day they are let out to potty in the dog park so they are familiar with regularly going on the grass.
